Inmate workers and corrections staff collected dozens of bags of garbage at Old Bridge and Laredo Roads.
Carmine’s Corrections Cleanup Crew received emails from people reporting garbage littering the roadway and went to work, according to a Facebook post by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office published Tuesday.
The public is encouraged to report garbage littering roadways by emailing carminescleanupcrew@sheriffleefl.org.
