Man arrested following Naples Manor shooting that injured 3

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man suspected of shooting three people Sunday in Naples Manor.

According to deputies, Jonathan Martinez, 21, was arrested on Monday following an investigation conducted by detectives after a fight broke out during a gathering of more than 20 people on Sholtz Street and Georgia Avenue.

During the altercation, three people were struck by bullets and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

According to CCSO, following a review of video evidence collected from the Sunday night shooting along with witness testimonies, deputies concluded that Martinez was the alleged shooter.

Deputies arrested Martinez at his home on Georgia Avenue.

He has been charged with aggravated battery for shooting at the victims and one count of aggravated assault for threatening a victim with a firearm.

Martinez currently sits behind bars at the Collier County Jail.
