Powerful storms leading to flood advisories and severe thunderstorm warnings have been impacting Southwest Florida for most of Thursday.

According to Lee County Electric Cooperative, the 1,700 people impacted by a power outage in Immokalee has reduced to 1,310 as of 6 p.m.

LCEC estimates they will have power restored by approximately 8 p.m.

A WINK News viewer sent Chief Meteorologist Matt Devitt a video of some of the wind damage in Immokalee.

The video shows tree limbs ripped from a tree and falling on the ground.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 4 p.m., saying 60 mph wind gusts were possible.
