‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy returns to select SWFL theaters this weekend

Have you ever wanted to see “The Lord of the Rings” in theaters?

Well, you will have the chance to see Middle Earth on the big screen this weekend for the trilogy’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.

You don’t have to venture to Mordor to see the extended editions of “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy in theaters.

Starting Saturday, “The Fellowship of the Ring” returns to select theaters. Then, on Sunday, war comes to Middle-Earth in the second film, “The Two Towers.” Finally, on Monday, “The Return of the King” brings the marathon and the trilogy to a triumphant conclusion.

Saturday, June 8. “Fellowship of the Ring”:

Sunday, June 9. “The Two Towers”:
