A man has been arrested after allegedly street-racing in Naples.

According to an arrest report from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Gustavo Aliaga was taken into custody after deputies witnessed two vehicles driving side by side, appearing to outdistance each other in a race.

Deputies initially saw the vehicles speeding near Davis Boulevard and Brookside Drive.

Deputies caught up to one of the vehicles, a grey 2006 BMW 330C, and conducted a traffic stop.

Aliaga gave permission for his friend to take custody of the vehicle.
