Two women have been arrested for possession of fentanyl during a routine traffic stop by deputies.

Collier County deputies said they stopped a silver Lexus SUV Monday night after the driver, Nora Weissenborn, blew a stop sign at the Bayshore Drive and Holly Avenue intersection.

That’s when deputies said both Weissenborn and her passenger, Mary Marks, became confrontational.

They said Marks came out of the car and when deputies searched it they found a crack pipe and a plastic bag with fentanyl inside.

Both women face multiple charges.
