The Englewood Chamber of Commerce announced over $167,000 in critical funding has been provided to individuals and families in Englewood affected by the devastation of hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The Lighthouse United Methodist Church of Boca Grande contributed alongside the chamber.

According to the chamber, the back-to-back hurricanes caused widespread destruction, displacing countless residents and leaving many in urgent need of assistance.

The Chamber’s Hurricane Relief Fund was established to address these pressing needs, providing financial aid to support recovery efforts, rebuild homes and supply essential resources to those most impacted.

These funds have been allocated to provide immediate relief, including temporary housing, food, medical supplies and rebuilding efforts.

The chamber worked closely with local organizations and volunteers to ensure the aid reached those who needed it most.
