Crash shuts down northbound lanes of SR-31

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A serious crash has shut down northbound lanes of State Road 31 at the intersection with Old Bayshore Road.

Officials confirm the accident involved a motorcycle versus a car.

The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.

A family of four with two kids in car are okay.

According to authorities, the car failed to yield and the motorcycle t-boned the car.
