FHP: Smoky conditions across Alligator Alley

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is monitoring smoky conditions along I-75 between mile markers 75 and 60 in Collier County due to a wildfire.

Alligator Alley remains open at this time but visibility is decreasing in certain area.

Troopers say they will close I-75 if it’s necessary.

If you plan on driving through the area, plan additional driving time, be cautious and have an alternate route in case Alligator Alley closes.
