NAPLES, Fla.- Collier County deputies are looking for a bear that was hit by a car early Tuesday morning in Golden Gate Estates.
Detectives say the bear was hit while eating out of a trash can near Everglades and Golden Gate Boulevards around 12:15 a.m.
Investigators say the driver of the car did not see the bear. The driver was taken to the hospital with injuries.
