TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) – Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher will give his quarterbacks an equal opportunity to make an impression during spring drills.

Fisher says J.J. Cosentino, Deondre Francois and Malik Henry will get the same number of snaps with the first- and second-teams. The Seminoles began practice on Wednesday and Fisher says after the three practices this week he will then decide who will get the most work.

Sean Maguire, who started seven games last season, is out due to offseason ankle surgery but Fisher says he should be ready by the start of preseason practices in August.

Florida State’s spring game will be played April 9 in Orlando because of renovations at Doak Campbell Stadium.
