FORT MYERS, Fla.- Two men were caught on surveillance cameras stripping the tires off two Land Rovers at the Jaguar dealership located at 15875 S. Tamiami Trail.

Just after midnight on Sunday, the men wearing dark clothing strolled through the car lot of the dealership.

Surveillance video shows one of the men removing the tires from a 2016 and 2014 Land Rover, leaving the vehicles sitting on their rotors.

A white Dodge van, with the license plate removed from the rear, later pulled into the dealership and the driver picked up the tires from the 2016 Land Rover.

Around 2:20 a.m., the same van returned to the lot and an unidentified man loaded up the tires from the 2014 vehicle.

The value of the stolen tires from the two Land Rovers is estimated at $7,000, officials said.

This is the second time the dealership has experienced a similar theft, but authorities say it’s unknown if the suspects from Sunday morning’s incident were involved with the previous incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
