Naples man arrested for alleged bomb activity

NAPLES, Fla. – A man is in jail after being busted for allegedly attempting to build a bomb, according to authorities.

Jason Klein, 41, is facing charges for making, possessing and attempting to discharge a destructive device.

Deputies poured into his Naples RV community on Monday to respond to a complaint about a possible gunshot.

A bomb squad was called in after deputies discovered a battery attached by wires to a device inside a paint can, according to reports. The contraption also had a trigger, deputies said.

People in the community were asked to stay outside until the device was secured and Klein was arrested. His bond was revoked, records show.
