Masked burglars target Texas Tony’s in East Naples

EAST NAPLES, Fla.- Texas Tony’s increased security after its restaurant was burglarized four times.

Over the past eight months, three masked men have used crow bars to break through the door and gain access to the restaurant safe. The thieves were only able to successfully break into the safe the first time. After each break-in, Texas Tony’s District Manager Jimmy Blanke increased security, adding surveillance cameras, reinforcing the safe, and adding bolts to the door. But still, the three continue to target the store.

The break-ins have cost the restaurant around $20,000, leaving the owners asking the public for help in identifying the three men covered from head-to-toe.

Blanke says there have been similar break-ins to other businesses in the area.
