NAPLES, Fla.- A home invasion robbery early Thursday morning at the Brittany Bay Apartments is under investigation, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said.

Around 3 a.m., authorities say at least three suspects forced their way inside an apartment on the 14900 block of Coastal Bay Circle.

Two of the suspects had ski masks on and at least one had a gun, the sheriff’s office said.

Shots were fired inside the apartment but no one was injured, authorities said. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry, officials added.

No arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions are available at this time.

Detectives believe the home invasion was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community. The investigation is ongoing.
