NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — One man suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital after a shooting that took place while he was sleeping in a North Fort Myers home, authorities said.

A woman in the home near the corner of Higgins and Twin Brooks roads told WINK News that bullets narrowly missed her head and a baby’s crib. The baby was not in the home at the time of the incident.

Authorities haven’t released details about a suspect or a motive, but the woman said she thinks she knows who did it and believes it was a targeted attack. The injured man doesn’t live at the home and was staying the night on the couch, according to the woman.
