
FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police Department will hold an introduction and workshop as Chief Derrick Diggs launches his Community Engagement Project.
The first part of the two-day event is geared toward dignitaries, church leaders, educators, law enforcement, business owners and community leaders. It will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 22 at the Harborside Event Center, 1345 Monroe St.
Later that day, the public is invited to a session from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Dr. Carrie Robinson Center, 2990 Edison Avenue.
Informal community discussions will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Robinson Center.
