AVE MARIA, Fla. — A large bear was spotted in a neighborhood on Kentucky Way late Tuesday night.
The bear ate out of a garbage can and sat down in front of a home for almost an hour.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were able to scare the bear away by shooting it with a pink bean bag shot gun.
