Resident leads charge for patrols on Fort Myers street

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Harlem Lakes neighborhood resident is calling on the Fort Myers Police Department to step up patrols on her street after waking up to shattered glass on her car and other evidence of bullets Thanksgiving morning.

Police were called to Harlem Lakes more than 3,000 times over the last year. Kristin Streck lives on Davis Court, which has its own history of violence.
