Investigation underway following Lehigh Acres backyard brush fire

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Crews contained a brush fire Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Williams Avenue, the Lehigh Acres Fire Control District said.

The flames began at around 1:15 p.m. inside a shed, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

No injuries were reported, but officials are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.
