SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. A baby was found dead inside a Pine Manor home Monday evening. Foul play is not suspected in the death of 4-month-old Alexander Joshua Laureano, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies arrived at around 7:40 p.m. to 5456 Tenth Ave. and have been investigating since. Screams could be heard from the duplex and the baby was rushed to a hospital, nearby residents said. Crime scene tape surrounded the house, but there is no threat to the public, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim’s identity has not been released, and the cause of death is not known. No further information is immediately available.
