Electric brain stimulation offers energy boost

FORT MYERS, Fla. Everyone sometimes needs that extra boost of energy to study for a final or during a long day at work.

But instead of caffeine or medication, many people are turning to transcranial direct current stimulation, or TDCS, to literally “zap” their brains into action with a small electric current.
