FORT MYERS, Fla. Since modern nursing was first founded, the responsibilities of nurses have changed dramatically, especially in the hospital setting. Today, nursing offers a wide range of opportunities and ever-expanding training programs from Certified Nursing Assistant to Doctorate of Nursing, and nurses can choose career paths in highly specialized fields, similar to physicians.
