Portion of SR-82 in Lehigh Acres reopens following crash

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. A portion of State Road 82 reopened following a crash Thursday morning, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 6:22 a.m. and the road was closed between 40th Street Southwest and Sunshine Boulevard South. State Road 82 reopened around 8:09 a.m.

The circumstances leading up to the crash were unclear.
