NAPLES, Fla. A mannequin on the road has many residents scratching their heads.

The mannequin dubbed Freaky Frank is the official flagger for debris teams in Collier County.

The goal is to prevent crashes and to slow down traffic while workers clear out downed trees and debris from Hurricane Irma.

Contractor Tony Pony found the mannequin while he was working to clean up debris in Houston after Hurricane Harvey.

“When the big truck comes up here, you’ll see Frank and I in action,” Pony said.

The dynamic duo slows down oncoming traffic all while catching a few double takes on the job.

“He does his job on one end, I do my job on the other and all the ladies, especially the ladies, want to stop and talk to him,” Pony said.

The next stop for Pony and Frank will be Puerto Rico to help clean up after Hurricane Maria.
