CAPE CORAL, Fla. A portion of a busy road could soon have a new name.
That change will be the topic of discussion Monday at a Cape Coral City Council meeting.
If approved, a stretch of El Dorado Boulevard between Jacaranda and Ceitus parkways would be renamed Paul Sanborn Boulevard, in honor the late city founder.
Some residents are upset about the proposal, citing what they feel is the lack of a proper chance to voice their concerns.
Residents will get an opportunity to do so prior to the council’s vote. The meeting will take place at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall on 1015 Cultural Park Blvd.
