Following a 4-2 loss to the Orlando Solar Bears Friday, the Florida Everblades grabbed a 2-1 victory in the shootout against its in-state rival Saturday night at Hertz Arena in Estero. The Blades have gotten off to a 3-1 start for 6 points in 4 games to start the season, and they sit at third place in the South Division of the ECHL. The Blades hit the road for their next three games and then return for a two-game home stand against the Solar Bears beginning Wednesday, Nov. 6 and again Friday, Nov. 8.
