Credit: Google Maps via WINK News. Fort Myers Police Department is responding to a crash involving a pedestrian in Fort Myers Friday. According to FMPD, police are on scene along the 800 block of Marsh Avenue, where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian has been taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been released by FMPD. There is a roadblock along Marsh Ave. from Woodside Avenue to Washington Avenue. The scene is south of the Marsh Ave. intersection with Palm Beach Boulevard. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternate route. FMPD expects investigators to be on scene for two hours or more.
