Roadway clear after bus fire on I-75 in Collier County

Florida Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle fire involving a bus in northbound lanes of I-75 in Collier County Friday.

According to FHP, state troopers went to a vehicle fire at mile marker 106 on northbound I-75, just north of Golden Gate Parkway exit 105.

Our crew was at the scene when a bus exploded after being fully engulfed in flames.

The roadway has since cleared.

A driver was the only occupant in the bus. State troopers say no one was injured due to the bus fire.
