Lee County Domestic Animal Services is reducing adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats to $25 and for all senior pets age 6 and over to $10.

The adoption package includes spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip ID and a 10-day health check.

During the “Fall in Love” adoption promotion, potential adopters may visit Animal Services, 5600 Banner Dr., Fort Myers, located off Six Mile Cypress Parkway next to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, by appointment.

The adoption center is open for appointments 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 239-533-7387 to schedule a visit.  To view all pets currently available and to complete our online application, go to www.leelostpets.com.

Animal Services on Monday also said adoption fees are being waived the week of Oct. 26 for kittens, due to overcrowding.
