A woman from Boca Raton was arrested early Monday morning for driving under the influence, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Around 1:34 a.m., FHP troopers responded to a report of a wrong-way driver traveling north in the southbound lanes of I-75 in the area of the Corkscrew Road exit. Upon reaching the area, troopers say they observed a 2019 Honda SUV traveling north on I-75 at around 25 mph and drifting from side to side.

Troopers performed a traffic stop and identified the driver as Cassandra Schroeder, 51, of Boca Raton. Upon further investigation, they determined Schroeder to be under the influence, placed her under arrest and transported her to the Lee County Jail.
