911 call released after woman finds siblings deadMassive gillnet with dead sharks and other species leads to arrest
As promised, storm potential has been much lower across Southwest Florida today. Expect only a few brief showers for the rest of your Thursday. Friday will have a similar setup with areas of spotty showers and storms. We will also see plentiful sunshine at times! This will allow highs to soar into the low-mid 90s. Heat indices will average near 103° throughout the afternoon. As we approach the weekend, rain chances will increase and so will our level of humidity. Hot and muggy with a chance of storms? Sounds like July! In the tropics, there is nothing to track that could impact us locally. The one disturbance is heading out to sea. Long-range models indicate we should be calm for at least the next 7 – 10 days.
