The following is weekly COVID-19 vaccine, case, and death data as reported by the Florida Department of Health for Aug. 6 – Aug. 12.

FLORIDA RESIDENTS

  • 2,877,214 CASES / 40,766 DEATHS
    • up from 2,725,450 cases / 39,695 deaths
    • 151,764 new cases reported
    • 1,071 new deaths reported
  • 12,420,704 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 12,103,207
    • 317,497 new people have received at least one dose
  • 10,319,844 people are fully vaccinated
    • up from 10,174,993
    • 144,851 new people fully vaccinated

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA RESIDENTS

SWFL:

  • 160,805 CASES (deaths are no longer separated by county)
    • up from 151,737
    • 9,068 new cases reported
  • 827,939 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 810,326
    • 17,613 new people have received at least one dose

CHARLOTTE COUNTY

  • 16,184 CASES
    • up from 15,347
    • 837 new cases reported
  • 119,384 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 117,581
    • 1,803 new people have received at least one dose

COLLIER COUNTY

  • 44,008 CASES
    • up from 41,857
    • 2,151 new cases reported
