Florida Highway Patrol responded to a deadly crash involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian on Pine Ridge Road in south Fort Myers Friday night.
According to FHP, a pedestrian was lying in the northbound lanes of Pine Ridge Road at McGregor Boulevard, when they were hit by a car and killed just before 9 p.m.
The positive identification of the pedestrian is still pending.
