The kit contains information regarding red flags, risk factors and statistics relating to human trafficking. The 2020 Federal Human Trafficking Report shows that 83% of active sex trafficking cases involved online solicitation. According to reports, more than half of the children in the United States have smartphones by the age of 11. The attorney general suggests discussing plenty of safety topics with your children, how predators entice children, popular social media apps used, and additional resources.
