Florida Highway Patrol is assisting in an investigation into what caused a fire at a truck stop.

This fire broke out just before 9:30 p.m. and it happened at the Pilot Travel Center located at 6050 Plaza Dr. This truck stop is located just off of Luckett Road near I-75.

Fire crews say initially they got a call that a semi-truck was on fire. Upon arrival, they found that that fire had spread to a second semi.

A third semi did have some fire damage as well.

Firefighters told WINK News the fire spread into the cargo areas of the first two trucks and both were fully involved. Fuel was coming out from under both of the trucks.

Luckily, there were no injuries during this fire and it was at least 150 feet away from the gas pumps.

Due to the nature of this fire, the State Fire Marshal did show up.

WINK News will update this breaking news story when more information is made available.
