LCSO looking for suspect in south Fort Myers Wells Fargo bank robbery

Deputies say this suspect robbed a bank on Thursday.

Authorities are investigating a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo in south Fort Myers.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating the robbery at the Wells Fargo at the intersection of Daniels Parkway and Treeline Avenue.

The bank is closed to the public.

The suspect is accused of handing a bank teller a note and getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash, LCSO said.

The man is described as bald, wearing a medical mask and wearing a camo T-shirt.

Deputies put a drone and their aviation team in the air and brought K9s to the scene in hopes of tracking the guy down.
