More breezy conditions, unseasonable heat for Southwest Florida

Highs will return to the 80s under partly cloudy skies. Our winds will be breezy, with wind gusts occasionally reaching 25 miles per hour.

A few showers will be possible inland after lunchtime. While our coastal zones should remain mostly dry, a spot shower can’t be ruled out.

Higher rain chances will return this weekend.  A cold front will create scattered showers and storms on Saturday afternoon.

Additionally, this front will drop our high temperatures into the 70s on Sunday.

Our boating forecast will be similar to Wednesday’s, with slight improvements to conditions within our bays.
