Credit: Lee County Sheriff’s Office A third man has been charged with running a roofing scheme in Lee County to defraud homeowners after Hurricane Irma, following his arrest Tuesday afternoon. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, William Buckridge, 44, was arrested at his Estero home around 1:45 p.m. in relation to a case of alleged fraud in which the suspects, including Brian Webb and Brandon Jourdan of Webb Roofing and Construction, are said to have promised homeowners new roofs with no deductible as long as the homeowner submitted a full roof replacement claim to their insurance company, and signed over insurance claim rights to Webb Roofing & Construction. Buckridge faces two counts of insurance fraud by a contractor. He bonded out of the Lee County Jail on Wednesday.
