Three people were arrested after deputies say they attempted to steal from a Home Depot.

Luis Lemon, 23, and Jose Rosario, 33, face charges of grand theft. Lemus was also booked on a warrant from Monroe County. Cecilia Castro, 25, was in the van and also arrested on a warrant from Osceola County.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office did not disclose what the warrants were for.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said it happened at Home Depot at 14655 South Tamiami Trail in south Fort Myers.

Two men were seen walking out of the store with large boxes and tools, the sheriff’s office said, adding that they fled the parking lot in a U-haul van and were immediately stopped by deputies.

Home Depot loss prevention was able to positively identify their merchandise, which included an A/C unit, laser kits, and patio furniture, the sheriff’s office said.
