The press release claims Florida is ranked second for Tesla ownership in the country. In 2021, statistics reflected 107,000 plug-in electric vehicles in the state, 54% of that total in Tesla vehicle models.

The new facility’s location off I-75 will be just 15 minutes from the Tesla dealership on the corner of Colonial Boulevard and Colonial Center Drive.
