A motorcyclist was hospitalized after an early Wednesday morning crash on I-75 in Fort Myers.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old Cape Coral woman was driving a car south in the inside lane of I-75, south of Colonial Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. A 60-year-old Fort Myers woman on a motorcycle was traveling south in front of the car.
The car rear-ended the motorcycle. Both drivers were transported to an area hospital. The 20-year-old had minor injuries, while the 60-year-old had serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
