High temperatures will reach the 80s under partly cloudy skies. It will be a breezy and pleasant afternoon with no rain in our forecast. Winds will slowly shift from the southeast to the southwest, gusting to 25 mph after lunchtime. Boaters can expect a moderate chop within our bays and Gulf wave heights between 2 to 3 feet.
A cold front will bring increased rain chances and cooler temperatures to the second half of our weekend. While Southwest Florida anticipates a few storms, these should stay below severe criteria.
