Scattered Monday afternoon showers, thunderstorms

High temperatures will reach the mid-80s under increasingly cloudy skies. Winds will become breezy in the late afternoon and evening, with wind gusts likely reaching over 25 mph in many locations.

It will not be a great beach or boating day. Boaters can expect moderate chop within our bays and 2-to 4-foot Gulf wave heights.

Scattered rain chances are in Monday’s forecast. After isolated showers in the morning, the afternoon, evening and early overnight hours will have wider rain coverage. Severe weather is not expected. After sundown, these will weaken substantially. A few showers will be possible Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Rain returns to the forecast every day of the week and the upcoming weekend.
