Cape Coral man accused of cocaine trafficking

A Cape Coral man was arrested Wednesday after police say he sold cocaine at several different locations throughout the city.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, 39-year-old Reiner Campos Atensio was arrested after a detailed undercover investigation revealed that he sold cocaine on several occasions at different locations throughout Cape Coral.

A search warrant was also executed at Atensios’ Southeast 23rd Avenue home, which revealed large amounts of illegal narcotics.

Atensio was taken to the Lee County Jail. He faces the following combined charges:

  • Possession of cocaine (4 counts)
  • Cocaine sale (3 counts)
  • Trafficking cocaine
  • Trafficking oxycodone
  • Trafficking hydrocodone
  • Possession of marijuana with intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver
  • Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (alprazolam)
  • Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (MDMA)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
