Mental Health Monday: Loneliness epidemic among SWFL children

When you hear the term “isolation,” you may think of quarantining after the pandemic started, but the reality is many Americans have felt lonely and isolated well before that.

In May, the U.S. Surgeon General issued an advisory to draw attention to the lack of connection in our country—around half of adults reported feeling lonely.

Dr. Omar Rieche with elite DNA Behavioral Health joined WINK News anchors Taylor Petras and Lindsey Sablan for Mental Health Monday.
