Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach The wait for a giant resort on an island town is coming to an end. The Margaritaville Resort will have a grand opening ceremony on Thursday starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Margaritaville Resort on Fort Myers Beach at 251 Crescent Street. The ceremony begins with a steel drum band and continues into the night with restaurants open for dining and live music. The resort has been the topic of discussion for the last five years, and people will finally get to enjoy it. Margaritaville Beach Resort is also now accepting reservations for stays beginning on Monday. The resort is 43,000 square feet and will have 254 rooms.
