WINK News responded to the scene of a fire early Sunday morning. The fire broke out on Palm Avenue at a single-story storage facility in Fort Myers at around 2 a.m. Fort Myers Police responded to the scene and told us at least one person had to be taken to the hospital as a trauma alert. According to officers, the victim had been living in one of the storage units and her burning candle caught her mattress on fire.
