The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left three people injured in the Naples Manor neighborhood.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, a man has been detained for questioning in the aftermath of the Naples Manor shooting.

One victim was shot in the cheek, another in the back and backside and the third victim was shot in the back of his leg.

The sheriff’s office says one of the three victims identified who shot him.

The victims were shot after a crowd of people gathered on Tamiami Trail East and Sholtz Street and began arguing with one another on Sunday.

A witness on the scene told deputies that seven shots were fired. Following the gunfire, the witness then located two men in a ditch in front of a home where they were shot.

The witness also told deputies there was a third victim.

As of 6 p.m. on Monday, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office had not named a suspect or announced any arrests.

WINK News spoke with a neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous about what happened.

“I think because we are all so close to each other, it does scare a lot of us,” the neighbor said. “In the time I’ve been living here, I haven’t heard anything like this.”

The three men all went to the hospital with serious injuries.
