The Weather Authority added a few strong storms will be possible. “A 1/5 severe weather outlook is currently in place for portions of Southwest Florida, with portions of Highlands and Glades counties included in a slight 2/5 severe weather outlook,” explained Meteorologist Nash Rhodes. “This is primarily for the hail and wind threat that may be associated with these storms.” Boaters will encounter a light chop on the water. High temperatures for southwest Florida mainly in the 90s with high humidity. Isolated showers and storms return to Monday’s forecast to start the work week.
